Situated on Cranworth Street in Glasgow’s West End, The Western Baths is a historic building which continues to provide services for health and wellbeing for its members and visitors, and retains historical gym apparatus in the pool, which is still used to this day, one of only three pools we are aware of in the UK which retains such features.
The facility houses a full range of wet and dry facilities such as a swimming pool, gym, sports hall and exercise room. It also has areas which would be regarded as for relaxation such as saunas, steam rooms and tepidarium.
There is a bar and bistro area and we also offer services such as sports massage, beauty therapy, hairdressing and a creche.
The building itself compromises three/four levels and is situated between Cresswell Street and Vinicombe Street. It sits directly behind the Hillhead Library, and next door to the Hillhead Book Club Bar and Restaurant.
